Raj Bhavan Assam UPSC Scholarship 2025: Apply Online for Free Civil Services Coaching

In a major step to support civil services aspirants of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Hon’ble Governor of Assam, launched a special scholarship programme on 17th September 2024. This initiative is designed to financially support dedicated youth preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

The scheme is a joint venture between Raj Bhavan, Assam and Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan, a part of Akhil Bhartiya Dayanand Sewashram Sangh. The aim is to prepare future-ready civil servants from Assam who are committed to Rashtra Nirman and Viksit Bharat.

Important Dates for GAPPY 2025–26 Scholarship

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Process

Eligible and interested candidates must apply online through the official website: https://gappy.assam.gov.in. Follow the steps below to complete your application:

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the official portal: https://gappy.assam.gov.in.
• Click on the “Register” option.
• Fill in the required details such as:
  • Candidate’s full name
  • Father’s and Mother’s name
  • Valid email ID
  • WhatsApp/mobile number
  • Other necessary information
• Submit the form to complete the registration process.

Step 2: Login

• After successful registration, go back to the homepage.
• Click on “Login” and enter your registered email ID and password.

Step 3: Fill Application Form

• After logging in, fill out the online application form with the required academic and personal details.

Step 4: Upload Documents

• Upload the necessary documents as per the guidelines. This may include:
  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Signature
  • Educational certificates
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Income certificate (if required)

Step 5: Final Submission

• Review all the details entered in the application form carefully.
• Submit the application form and download a copy for future reference.

Exam & Selection Details

• Around 4000 candidates will be shortlisted based on Class 12 and Graduation marks.
• A Screening Test will be held in: Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, Silchar, Dibrugarh, Kokrajhar, Diphu, Baksa & Haflong
• Group Counselling & Interview will be held only in Guwahati.
