Assam Police Selection Process 2024
Candidates whose applications are successfully accepted will be required to undergo the Physical Standards Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Any candidate found to have a physical deformity during these tests, as assessed by the Medical Officer on the Selection Committee, will be disqualified from proceeding further in the recruitment process.

Physical Standards Test (PST)
After the verification of documents, candidates will participate in the PST, which is non-evaluative. This stage includes measuring the height, weight, and chest (for male candidates) using advanced equipment. Additionally, a preliminary medical examination will be conducted by a Medical Officer, checking for conditions such as knock knees, vision problems, color blindness, flat feet, varicose veins, and any physical deformities. Only those candidates who clear the PST will be allowed to move on to the PET.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
