SCERT D.El.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 Date & Time

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has announced the D.El.Ed Entrance Exam (PET) 2024, scheduled for 8th September 2024. The online application process started on 22nd July and concluded on 11th August 2024. Candidates can download their admit cards for the entrance from 1st September 2024 through the official website, scertpet.co.in.

SCERT D.El.Ed PET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Applicants should have successfully completed their Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination from recognized Boards/Councils, securing at least 50% aggregate marks, excluding additional optional subjects. Candidates from SC/ST categories will benefit from a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.

Age Criteria: Candidates must be at least 18 years old but not more than 34 years old as of July 1, 2024. There is a 2-year relaxation in age for SC, ST (P), and ST (H) category candidates.

Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs.600 (Rupees Six Hundred Only) is applicable for all categories, payable online via Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Wallet.

Reservation Policy: Seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to specified categories including OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD), in accordance with the Reservation Policy.

SCERT D.El.Ed Entrance Exam Admit Card 2024

According to the official notification, SCERT will release the D.El.Ed PET Admit Card on 1st September 2024. Candidates can download their admit card through the official website https://scertpet.co.in/ by using their Application Number and password starting from 1st September onwards. How to Apply for Assam D.El.Ed PET 2024?

To apply for the Assam D.El.Ed PET 2024, candidates need to follow these steps:

1. Go to the official website scertpet.in for DELED PET 2024.
2. Click on ‘DELED PET-2024 Online Apply’.
3. Start by registering yourself.
4. Log in using your ID and password.
5. Complete the application form.
6. Then, upload required documents in the specified format.
7. Review your details and submit the application.
8. Finally, pay the application fee and submit the form.

Required Documents to Apply Online D.El.Ed PET

The following documents should be required during the online application process:

• HS Marksheet and Pass Certificate
• HSLC Admit Card or Birth Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• PWD Certificate (if any)
• Passport size photo
• Candidate’s Signature

Document Size: Students must ensure all documents are in JPEG or PDF format, with signatures and photographs not exceeding 100 KB and other documents not more than 450 KB in size.

SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Entrance Exam Syllabus 2024

The SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Entrance Exam Syllabus 2024 is divided into two sections. Section I covers three subjects: General English, General Knowledge, and Reasoning. Section II covers four subjects: General Mathematics, General Science & EVS, Social Science, and one language (Assamese, Bangla, or Bodo). The exam has a total of 100 marks, with questions from all these subjects. The detailed syllabus and its marks are provided in the table below:

SCERT D.El.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 Result

After successfully completing the DElEd entrance exam, SCERT will declare its results on 23rd September 2024. Candidates can check their results online through the official website by entering their application number and password.

Upon qualifying the DElEd PET, selected candidates will participate in the counselling process. After counselling, the finally selected candidates will be eligible for admission to the DElEd course in their preferred institutions for the academic years 2024-2026.
