Sainik School Admission 2026: Apply Online for AISSEE Exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026. Students who dream of joining India’s prestigious Sainik Schools for Class 6 and Class 9 can now apply online.

The AISSEE 2026 online application has started on 10 October 2025, and the last date to apply is 9 November 2025. The entrance test will be held nationwide on 18 January 2026.

What is AISSEE 2026?

AISSEE is a national-level entrance test organized every year by NTA for admission to Class VI and IX in 33 Sainik Schools and newly approved Sainik Schools across India. AISSEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

For Class 6 Admission

• Age Limit: Between 10 to 12 years as on 31 March 2026.
• Date of Birth: Must be born between 1 April 2014 and 31 March 2016.
• Gender: Both boys and girls can apply.

For Class 9 Admission

• Age Limit: Between 13 to 15 years as on 31 March 2026.
• Date of Birth: Must be born between 1 April 2011 and 31 March 2013.
• Qualification: Must have passed Class 8 from a recognized school.
