Benefits of AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2025

The AICTE Pragati Scholarship helps female students by giving financial support for their education. Every year, 5,000 students are selected for this scholarship. Each student gets ₹50,000 per year as a lump sum amount.

This money can be used to pay college fees, buy books, computers, software, and other study materials. First-year students can get this scholarship for up to 3 years, while second-year students (through lateral entry) can get it for up to 2 years. However, this amount does not cover expenses like hostel or medical charges.

Pragati Scholarship 2025 – Important Guidelines

➢ Before applying for the Pragati Scholarship, candidates must be aware of certain important guidelines. The key terms and conditions are as follows:

➢ Only those students who have secured admission to the first year of a degree or diploma program in the current academic session are eligible to apply.

➢ Students who have gained admission through the management quota are not permitted to apply for the AICTE Pragati Scholarship.

➢ Every applicant must have an individual savings bank account. Accounts such as FRILL, Minor, or Joint accounts are not acceptable.

➢ While submitting the application form, candidates must upload scanned copies of their passport-size photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format. The size of the photograph should not exceed 200 KB, and the signature must be within 50 KB.

➢ In case there are no eligible applicants in a particular degree or diploma program, the scholarship can be transferred to another program.

➢ The scholarship amount will be disbursed directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
