Lakhpati Baideo List: The Assam state government, under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA), has launched the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme to support female Self-Help Group (SHG) members across the state. As part of this initiative, the government, led by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, is set to distribute an initial sum of INR 10,000 to all women included in the Lakhpati Baideo List Assam 2024.

Lakhpati Baideo List Assam 2024

The Lakhpati Baideo List is a highly anticipated term in Assam, especially among women involved in Self-Help Groups (SHGs). This list is part of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, commonly known as the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme, launched by the Assam government. The scheme aims to empower female SHG members by enabling them to earn at least INR 1 lakh per year. Applicants can check their status and download the Lakhpati Baideo List from the official website at nrlm.gov.in.

Under this initiative, Dr. Sarma has declared that selected women will be granted INR 35,000 by the Assam government to help them start small businesses and become self-sufficient. The first installment will provide INR 10,000, and thereafter, they will receive INR 25,000.

The primary goal of this scheme is to empower the women of Assam by promoting self-employment. It is estimated that approximately 40 lakh women from Self-Help Groups will benefit from this scheme.
