Admission Procedure for the Academic Programmes
1. Reporting Date and Venue
- Date of Admission: 31st July 2025
- Venue: Department of Education, Dibrugarh University
- Time:
- Merit List Candidates: 9:30 AM onwards
- Waiting List Candidates: 12:00 PM onwards
The candidates from the merit list are required to report at the venue at the scheduled time. Waiting list candidates must also be present on the same day, as their admission will depend on the availability of seats after the completion of admissions from the main merit list.
2. Admission Formalities
- The admission process will include counseling and verification of original documents.
- Only those candidates who are physically present will be considered for admission.
Documents Required at the Time of Admission
Candidates must bring the original documents along with one set of photocopies for verification and submission during admission. The required documents are:
- Print copy of the Online Application Form.
- HSLC (10th) Marksheet and Pass Certificate.
- HSSLC (12th) Marksheet and Pass Certificate.
- BA/BSc (1st to 6th Semester) Marksheets.
- DUPGET 2025 Score Card.
- Undertaking on ‘Provisional Admission’ (Format available on the Dibrugarh University website).
- Domicile Certificate or Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Assam
(Required for fee-waiving benefits and statutory reservations). - Caste Certificate along with relevant supporting documents (if applicable).
- NCL Certificate (for OBC/MOBC candidates).
- Income Certificate (if applicable).
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates must ensure that they bring all required original documents for verification; failure to do so will result in cancellation of their admission.
- Provisional admission will be confirmed only after the verification of documents by the Admission Committee.
- Candidates from the waiting list should be prepared with all documents as their admission will be processed only if there are vacant seats after the main list admissions.
