Scholarship Amount

Selected students under the DHE Combined Merit Scholarship will receive monthly financial support based on their course level:

• Undergraduate Students (Degree): ₹450 per month
• Postgraduate Students (Master’s): ₹500 per month

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the DHE Combined Merit Scholarship 2025, students must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

Domicile

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.

Educational Qualification

• For Degree Scholarship: Must have scored at least 60% marks in Higher Secondary Final Examination.
• For Master’s Scholarship: Must have obtained 60% marks in the General Degree Course.

Course Eligibility

• Students pursuing 1st Semester General Degree or Master’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from any provincialized/ government college or State/ Central University in Assam are eligible.

Bank Account

• The student must have an active personal bank account, preferably in SBI.
• Details like Bank Name, Account Number, IFSC Code, and Branch Name must be entered correctly during application.

Required Documents

Students must submit the following documents along with the printed application form to their respective college or university authorities:

1. Certificate from the Head of the Institution/Registrar confirming current enrollment.
2. Photocopy of the first page of the active bank passbook (showing account details).
3. Final mark sheet of the last qualifying examination (HS or Degree).
4. Passport-size photograph and signature of the applicant.
5. Aadhaar Card for identity verification.

Selection Process

The selection for the DHE Combined Merit Scholarship will be done purely on merit basis.

• The highest-scoring students in the eligible examinations will be selected.
• The number of scholarships awarded will depend on the annual budget allocation.
• Applications with incomplete details or inactive bank accounts will be rejected automatically.
