2. General Science & Environmental Studies (15 Marks)
- Natural and social environments, environmental degradation causes (pollution, deforestation, etc.), biodiversity, environmental protection, states of matter, chemical reactions, force, energy, motion, cell structures, plant adaptations, microorganisms, temperature measurement, acids/bases/salts, light, weather, respiration.
3. Social Science (20 Marks)
- Natural and human resources, atmosphere layers, Indian freedom movement, Indian constitution, democracy, Ahom kingdom, ancient civilizations, government structures, earthโs structure, consumer rights, financial institutionsโ roles, transport, agriculture and industrial development, post-independence India, medieval administratorsโ contributions in Assam.
4. Language (15 Marks)
- Language learning objectives, importance, phrases and idioms, skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), language teaching methods, home language vs. mother tongue, grammar rules (suffixes, prefixes, number agreements), reading comprehension, Nattabidhi, Sattabidhi.
