CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025
Good news for meritorious girl students! The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited applications for the Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme 2025. This scholarship is specially designed to encourage the education of girls who are the only child of their parents.
Girls who cleared their CBSE Class 10 exam with 60% or more marks and are now studying in Class 11 or 12 can apply for this merit-based scholarship. The last date to apply online at cbse.gov.in is October 23, 2025.
Under this program, eligible students will receive ₹500 per month for up to two years (Class 11 & 12).

- Payment Mode: ECS/NEFT directly to the student’s bank account

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025, students must fulfill these conditions:
- Must be an Indian national (NRI students with tuition fee up to ₹6,000 also eligible).
- Should be the only girl child of her parents.
- Must have passed Class 10 CBSE exam with at least 60% marks.
- Should be studying in Class 11 or 12 at a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Tuition fee should not exceed ₹1,500 per month (10% enhancement allowed in Classes 11 & 12).
- For renewal, students must have received the scholarship last year, scored at least 50% in Class 11, and promoted to Class 12.
