Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat, Assam has released an official notification inviting online applications for various administrative government posts in 2025. Eligible candidates can now apply for the positions of Junior Assistant and Office Assistant.

1. Junior Assistant

• Total Posts: 01
• Salary: ₹14,000–60,500 + GP ₹6,400 (7th CPC)
• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce or any stream
  • Minimum 6 months to 9 months Computer Diploma/Certificate from a Govt-recognized institute
• Computer Skills Required:
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Internet usage
• Desirable:
  • Work experience in a higher educational institution

2. Office Assistant

• Total Posts: 01
• Salary: ₹14,000–60,500 + GP ₹6,400 (7th CPC)
• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Minimum 6 months Computer Diploma/Certificate from a Govt-approved institute
• Computer & Typing Skills:
  • MS Office & Internet
  • English Typing: 35 WPM / 10,500 KDPH
• Desirable:
  • Experience in academic or administrative departments of educational institutions

Age Limit (as on 04 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Age Relaxation (as per Govt norms)

• SC/ST: +5 years (up to 45 years)
• OBC/MOBC: +3 years (up to 43 years)
• PwBD Candidates: +10 years (applicable for all categories)

How to Apply for BSSRV Golaghat Recruitment 2025

Candidates have to complete both the online and offline submission processes. First, they must apply online through the official portal at https://bssrvnt.samarth.edu.in/.

After successfully submitting the online form, applicants need to take a printout of the application and send it along with all required documents to the Registrar, Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya (BSSRV), Golaghat Engineering College Campus, Golaghat, Assam – 785621.

The hardcopy of the application must reach the office by 19 January 2026.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in three phases:

1. Phase–I: OMR-Based Screening Test (100 marks, 2 hours)
   Questions from General Studies including Current Affairs, History, Geography, Economy, Polity, Mental/Numerical Ability, and Assam-related topics.
2. Phase–II: Written Test (Conventional Type) – 100 marks, 2 hours
   • General English – 50 marks
   • Office Procedure & General Administration – 25 marks
   • Precis Writing, Drafting & GK – 25 marks
3. Phase–III: Computer Test & Interaction – 100 marks
   • Computer Practical Test – 50 marks (1.5 hours)
   • Academic Credentials – 50 marks

Final merit list will be prepared based on Phase–II and Phase–III performance.
