Anundoram Borooah Award 2025 – Online Apply for ARBAS Cash Award

The Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme was started by the Assam Government in 2005 to encourage students to do well in their studies. In the beginning, students received laptops and digital learning materials. But after the COVID-19 pandemic, the government changed the plan and now gives cash awards directly to eligible students instead.

Evolution of the Award

Before 2019, students who qualified for the Anundoram Borooah Award received a laptop along with internet connection, digital NCERT books, and online learning materials. But from 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and difficulties in getting laptops, the government started giving cash instead of laptops. This year, in 2025, each eligible student will get ₹15,000 directly in their bank account.

Anundoram Borooah Award 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this award in 2025, students must fulfill the following criteria:

• Academic Qualification: Must have secured Star Marks (75% or above) in the HSLC examination 2025.
• Board: Must have passed the exam under the SEBA (Assam) board.
• Passing Year: Must have appeared and passed the HSLC exam in the year 2025.

2. Front Page of Bank Passbook

How to Apply for ARBAS 2025?

Eligible students can submit their applications by visiting the official ARBAS application portal. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Visit the official Bidyarthi or Madhyamik portal.
2. Click on the ‘Online Application Form’ link.
3. Login using your Roll Code, Roll Number, and Date of Birth.
4. Fill in all required information including your bank account details.
5. Upload the necessary documents as per the specifications.
6. Submit the form and download the acknowledgment receipt for future reference.

Anundoram Borooah Award 2025 Merit List

The merit list for the Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme 2025 is expected to be published in September 2025. This list will be prepared based on the performance of students in the HSLC Examination 2025 conducted by SEBA. Only those who have secured Star Marks (75% or above) will be considered for inclusion.

The list will be made available district-wise on the official portals. Students are advised to regularly check the website for updates. If a student’s name is missing despite meeting the criteria, they can contact the helpline or visit the office of the District Inspector of Schools for necessary support.
