ONGC Apprentice Salary & Stipend 2025

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend during their 12-month training period as per Government norms:

• Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300/-
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹10,900/-
• Trade Apprentice: ₹8,200/- to ₹10,560/-

Age Limit (as on 06.11.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years

(Candidate’s date of birth must be between 06.11.2001 and 06.11.2007.)

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• PwBD (General): 10 years
• PwBD (OBC/NCL): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Educational Qualification by Trade

Candidates should possess the following educational qualifications depending on their discipline:

• 10th Pass Trades: Library Assistant
• ITI Trades: Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic Diesel, COPA, Draughtsman (Civil), Surveyor, Welder, Machinist, Instrument Mechanic, etc.
• Diploma Trades: Civil Executive, Electrical Executive, Mechanical Executive, Fire Safety Supervisor, Computer Science, and others.
• Graduate Level: B.Com (Accounts Executive), BBA (HR), B.Sc. (Chemistry), BA/Graduate (Office Assistant), Petroleum Executive, Engineering graduates in Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, etc.
