Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam. Selected candidates are required to submit proof of residence after the publication of the final select list.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of January 1, 2024.

Educational Qualification: Applicants should have passed the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) or possess an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates should submit their applications by August 31, 2024. Applications must be deposited in person at the drop box located in the Personnel Branch of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation office, situated on the 2nd Floor, Uzanbazar, Guwahati-781001.

Selection Process

Applicants who meet all the criteria will be invited to take a written test. Those who pass will proceed to the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by a Personality Test/Viva Voce for final selection.
